It’s been raining here pretty consistently since Friday night. On Saturday we went to the Speedway, hoping that the rain would hold off. It didn’t and we got saturated. I did manage to snap this picture of how low the clouds were thought before the heavens opened.

For the last couple of weeks there has been a carnival at the local PCYC. We went on Sunday night and Mr 5 had an absolute ball! It was $25 for unlimited rides so it was really good value too. I’m sharing a picture of Mr 5 after he came down the giant slide.
I’m joining in with Toni from Finding Myself Young for her 52 weeks of memories. I had said that I was going to join in earlier in the week but it was 6pm tonight and I still didn’t have a photo. Then the universe kind of stepped in.
We were out in the front yard. Paul was weeding a garden bed, Mr 5 was seeing how fast he could ride his bike to the end of our block and back. It was a perfect summer afternoon. The weather was finally cooling down. The sun was out but it wasn’t ridiculously hot. There were a few clouds in the sky, no big deal….right?
