I’m joining in with Toni from Finding Myself Young for her 52 weeks of memories. I had said that I was going to join in earlier in the week but it was 6pm tonight and I still didn’t have a photo. Then the universe kind of stepped in.
We were out in the front yard. Paul was weeding a garden bed, Mr 5 was seeing how fast he could ride his bike to the end of our block and back. It was a perfect summer afternoon. The weather was finally cooling down. The sun was out but it wasn’t ridiculously hot. There were a few clouds in the sky, no big deal….right?
Then one of the few clouds in the sky decided to dump it’s load. It felt like someone just emptied a giant bucket from the sky. It poured for about a minute. It was glorious and while Paul and Mr 5 scampered under cover I stood in the rain. It was wonderful.

See that cloud? That was the pesky cloud who rained right on top of me. I was feeling very ‘Why does it always rain on me’.
I love sun showers! I went out the back and sat in one a couple of weeks ago.
Nothing like some Summer rain to cool things down a little 🙂 Cute photos.
