Ozsale Review: Kid in a candy store

I received a $100 voucher to use at Ozsale.  As always, all opinions are my own.

Have you ever window shopped online?  I often find myself on sites, pretending that money is no object and putting things in my cart like nobody’s business.  You know those shopping sprees where the winner gets to rush through the store, putting as much into their trolley as possible? That is my dream.

Unfortunately it is all a dream, and I eventually have to hit ‘clear cart’ before coming crashing back to reality.  All of the pretty clothes gone in an instant.  It’s pretty damn depressing sometimes.

So, when I was contacted by a rep for Ozsale to spend $100 on anything I wanted on the site, I was almost giddy with excitement.  I pored over the website, trying to work out where I would get more bang for my buck.  I hit refresh on my email, willing the voucher to magically appear so I could begin.

I moved through each segment of the site.  Looking at the different sales and checking their end dates.  I think I filled my cart 3 times over while waiting patiently (ha!) for the voucher to arrive.  I didn’t know if I wanted to spend it in the women, men, children, home or beauty.  Yes they really do have everything.

Ozsale is a shopping site that caters for the budget buyers who want the brand names too.  There are no knock offs, everything is the genuine article.  There is everything, from the well known household names to the designer brands which are often out of reach of the everyday Aussie.

The website is set out nicely, with the newest sales listed first.  Each sale is only for a limited time, often only a week and the countdown can be seen on the main page of each section.  The sales are then broken down further depending on the products that are included in the sale.  It really does feel like you’ve been given backstage access to the warehouse of the brands.

As I mentioned, I was given $100 to spend on the Ozsale website.  I was amazed at the things that I was able to get for under $100.  Included in my stash were clothes for Mr 5, perfume (for both myself and Paul), make up and nail polish.  I managed to knock a couple of gifts off my Christmas list too.

The items are sent directly from the brands warehouse but that doesn’t mean you are hit with multiple shipping charges.  Ozsale has a flat shipping rate of $9.95, however they often have free shipping available.  Once you sign up, you will get an email each day letting you know about the newest sales and when you can take advantage of their free or discounted shipping rates.  You are also able to track your items in your account so you can patiently (unlike me) await their arrival!

Overall I was quite impressed with the range on offer at Ozsale.  I think there really is something available for everyone, if not today then there are always new sales tomorrow!

Have you ever tried Ozsale?  Do you enjoy window shopping?

I get the chance to go shopping there today! What did you buy? I’m so caught between a gorgeous doona cover for me and some perfume or that I could get some Christmas gifts for others.

I got a mix of stuff. I got a couple of outfits for Mr 5, a giggle and hoot domino set, perfume for myself and cologne for Paul, lipstick and nail polish. I managed to get the nail polish for $1 each!

Except for t shirts with silly slogans I don’t buy online but I’m about to go and check this site out. The main reason I don’t buy online is because I don’t know where to go.

It’s really a great site. I also love that they have the licensed stuff too. I was able to get a Giggle and Hoot Domino set for Mr 5 which I am putting away for Christmas.
