A-Z of Misguided Muser

This week the prompt for I must confess is ‘A-Z of you’ and I was pretty excited about it.  I love posts that let us know that little bit more bloggers and what makes them who they are.  Sure the whole blog is usually about them, but short snippets are often where the juiciest bits of who they are as a person lay!

A is for awesome of which I am the Queen.

B is for borderline of which I have been diagnosed.  It is just an illness, not who I am but still an important part of my story.

C is for cats that my neighbour and I have seemed to have adopted..you see she thought they were mine, and I thought they were hers!

D is for daughter, the first role that I played in this world.

E is for Emergency Department, the gate keepers to the mental health world, a place that can be a saviour or filled to the brim with stigma.

F is for family and friends who have stuck by me through thick and thin.  For the friends who can joke with me, who I know have my back.

G is for Gastro-type illness that means if I miss a days of medication I have acid saliva.

H is for Happy, that elusive place that I have learned to let go of, it’s a journey, not a destination.

I is for information, overflowing at times but restricted at others.  Information, or lack thereof is the reason I continue with this blog.

J is for the judgement that has made me the person I am today, the judgement which allows me to hold my head high because I know that I am a better person than I was yesterday.

K is for kindergarten, for which I am thankful.  I love watching the new things Mr 4 learns and his face lighting up when he sees me walking through the gate.

L is for love, for without it I would not be the person I am today.  Love really does make the world go round.

M is for medication.  Without medication I am a raving mad woman.  I mean that sincerely, not in a ‘meme posted on the internet for shits and giggles way’.

N is for nurture.  Blogging has taught me to nurture the small things, that sometimes it’s ok to focus on the smaller picture rather than the big one.

O is for opportunity.  This blog has given me so many that I never thought were possible.  From friendships to information, I am thankful for it all.

P is for purpose.  I often feel that I am floating along without purpose and then I look at my son, the family that Paul and I have created and I know that I have all I need right now.

Q is for Queen…screw princess I want to be a damn queen.

R is for regret.  I do have many regrets, I wish that I hadn’t said that, or done this but I know that at the end of the day, without those actions, I wouldn’t be where I am today.

S is for scars, they show where I was, a place that I don’t want to be again.

T is for Tegan, the person that I am.  A culmination of all of these things.

U is for universal.  One thing that blogging has helped me to realise is that the struggles we have, the insecurities we face are universal.  We are never alone.

V is for vitamins.  I have recently starting taking a whole bunch under the direction of my GP..why do they have to be so big and taste so horrible!

W is for wellness.  I have learned that wellness means so many different things to different people.  It can even change from day to day for one person.

X is for x-ray…a few years ago I was diagnosed with RSI in my thumb..that’s right I had an injury from texting too much.

Y is for you, without you I wouldn’t have this awesome space, you help to make it what it is.

Z is for zoo, for that is what my house feels like some days…and people ask why I only want one child!

What is one letter from the alphabet that you identify with something special in your life right now?

I really like this – J is for the judgement that has made me the person I am today, the judgement which allows me to hold my head high because I know that I am a better person than I was yesterday. It’s a great perspective…

A great list 🙂 If I was to do one myself, I think it would be fairly similar in some respects…Particularly S for scars, and M for medication…Oh, and J for judgement! I have felt alot of this recently….Nice read 🙂

Vitamins are worth it – I did a detox recently and didn’t take them for the 3 days and got sick!! I just smash ’em back, 6 at a time. Your list is very sweet, sincere and humble… RSI in your thumb, I’ve been told I’m getting it in my left wrist, from writing, typing etc!

Have to agree with you on the vitamins. I’ve been crushing mine and adding them to my smoothies or buying them in liquid form. Not convinced they are working.

I relate to a lot of things on your list, especially about the feeling of floating with no purpose. Hang on.. eating cake is a purpose, right? You’ll always be the Queen of Awesome. xo
