*I received 3 tickets to Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary as part of the Problogger Pop Up Events*
The boys loved the train and we managed to get a couple of rides into our day
The Kangaroos were so friendly. Although this guy head butted me in the but because I was patting his buddy instead of him!
We tried to get Mr 4 to put his head in here but he was having none of that!
Introducing Boss Hogg. This guy is a whopping 4.8m long. He was happily living in the Cairns region until he ate a $10,00 prize bull. The local farmer wasn’t too impressed
The crocodile show had us all in awe when Boss Hog jumped out of the water to catch his lunch.
Bogg Hogg’s poolmate Lily also jumped for her lunch. At 3.2m she looked tiny next to Boss Hogg
There was a multitude of lizards running free around the park. This one let us get close enough for a picture. Also note the *no swimming* sign in the background. We laughed and wondered what idiot made that sign necessary.
Mr 4 and I enjoying our train ride.
This case was used to smuggle a large number of birds into the country. It makes me sad that some people have so little regard for animals.
The boys enjoyed the bird show, especially watching the Pelican catch fish in his giant beak.
The Barking Owl, or as Mr 4 likes to call it ‘The screaming lady bird’
It’s almost impossible to get a picture of two 4 year olds NOT pulling a face!
Linking up with My Little Drummer Boys for Wordless Wednesday.
