I’m not perfect

It’s Monday again and you know what that means!? It’s confession time over at My Home Truths.  This week is about bad habits..but you can confess to absolutely anything that tickles your fancy.

I know I am totally busting a bubble here by admitting that I am not the picture of perfection that you all thought I was.  Ok you can stop laughing now. Seriously stop.

really memePersonal

  • Putting my plates away.  Seriously.  Right now I have a pile of plates and cups next to me on my little ‘beside the couch’ table.  I then have to do a run around of the house to make sure I get them all before I wash up.
  • Once a packet of chips is open then it must be eaten in one sitting.  It’s just the rules.
  • Forgetting to brush my hair, then complaining because it is ridiculously knotty and messy.
  • Forgetting that it is in fact bin night. At least not until I am about to go to bed..usually around midnight.
  • Leaving said wheelie bin at the gutter until I need to use it…or just leaving the bad next to the door because I’m too lazy to go out and get it.
  • Remembering I have washing on the line..just as I am going to bed.  This isn’t a drama in Summer but in Winter it poses a bit of a problem.
  • Pimple picking. I know I shouldn’t do it but I just can’t stand them.
  • Short temper fuse.  It’s something I am working on in therapy so it is slowly getting better.

Blogging

  • Leaving posts for link ups until the last minute.  I try to be super organised all of the time but it just doesn’t happen.
  • Keeping up with other people blogs.  I just don’t have the attention span for it.

It was harder to thinking of blogging bad habits because while I don’t think they are bad or annoying habits, I am sure there are people who do.

So share with me, what is one thing that bloggers do that annoys you?

I feel so bad not keeping up with friends blogs but like you said it is so time consuming so I at least try to get to one a week.

Add me to the list of ‘bin ignorers’!

As for blogger irritations, well, thankfully it’s not as widespread any more, but people who have music embedded in their pages, or custom cursors (e.g. trail of stars or something) used to drive me mad!

Oh yes on the music! I have seen a few sites popping up lately that have videos starting up automatically and that does my head in as well. It always seems to that they hide the stop button.

I do the pimple thing too – who would have thought that at close to 50 I would still be getting pimples – although I think it has more to do with menopause than anything else !!!
    Have a great day !

I have gotten more pimples in my twenties than I got in my entire teens. It drives me balmy!

Very few bloggers annoy me…I understand that people don’t always have time to comment, reply or even link up to my weekly link up (Flashback Friday – posts about the past, not from the past week – in case you’re interested)! But it annoys me when bloggers (and there are probably only a couple) who think they have more rights to an audience than other people. Okay, I better stop here before this turns into a rant lol.

haha my face is covered in my pimples and I am 25 so not just confined to the menopause. You can always say that you are 21 with a few years experience 😉

Nothing annoys me about bloggers! I love them all. Except once I thought someone nicked my idea but they probably didn’t. Sometimes I start to write a dead boring post and I’ll read someone else’s sassy attitude and it will perk me up. I’ve only been blogging for 5 months but I love how everyone is so supportive… or maybe I’ve just met the nice ones!

I’m not annoyed by bloggers more entertained and informed by what they sometimes do wrong.

Thanks for linking up for our Sharing is Caring Sunday, looking forward to ‘casing’ your blog all week!

Creating an easy to use mobile site was one of my priorities as I know that a lot of people do check blogs with their phones.

I’m rather hopeless with the forgetting the washing on the line thing too. In fact if it were not for my Micky Blue Eyes the washing would never be done around here at least 90% of the time. So, I think I’ll keep him. Ahem.

I’m also a ‘fly by the seat of my pants’ style blogger.

I can’t keep up with my own blog let alone anyone else’s…I try to really reciprocate in linkups but otherwise I do struggle. It’s a matter of time or lack thereof, unfortunately. I’m hoping to change, one day!

I’m completely with you on the cups and plates thing. I’m very guilty of that. Being new to blogging and very technologically challenged, I’m always getting it wrong in some way or another. So for me, just thinking of something to write is still a challenge.

I do the bin thing too. I just really believe it’s not my job. I hate wheeling those things around.
Our neighbours often wheel mine in and I repay them in oranges from the tree.

My biggest personal bad habit is leaving wet nappies on the change table!! At least til I go back for the next change & realise!! My biggest bad habbit for blogging is also leaving posts until the last minute & searching high & low for the link I wanted to write about!! We’ll all get better one day… Fingers crossed lol 🙂
