One of the things that I have noticed about the gap between awareness and treatment is that a lot of people don’t know how to access that treatment. I’ve been dealing with the system for 12 years and I am still figuring things out! These tips are for Australia, however if you speak to your GP you may be able to find out what is available in your area.

Lately (ok maybe not just lately, but bare with me), I haven’t been able to sleep very well. According to my psychologist I have gotten myself stuck in a ‘worry hole’ of epic proportions. You know the kind, first off you worry that you had toasted sandwiches for dinner, then you worry that you have to go to the shop tomorrow to get more bread, then you worry about having to go out in public and before you know it you are remembering that stupid thing you said to someone when you were in grade 8.
Hi everyone! Welcome to The Lounge! It’s just a short one from me today because I fear I am drowning in snot. So settle in, make yourself at home and share the post you are most proud of.
A few weeks ago I wrote a post about how I missed winter this year because it was non existent. I take it all back, you win Mother Nature so you can bugger off now. I get it, you are mighty and all of that shit.
A few years ago I did Michelle Bridges 12wbt and the above quote is something that has stuck in my head ever since. It hasn’t stuck there because I agree with it, it’s stuck there like a thorn in my side, a point of contention for the things that I believe to be true to myself. I could rant all day about the things that I found wrong with the challenge, but that is not what this post is about.
This week Kirsty wants us to dish the dirt on our real feelings about exercise. I must confess that I got a little giddy thinking about the prompt for this week, you see I hate exercise with a passion (such a shock I know!) but I am multi layered in my approach to my love/hate relationship with huffy puffy. Like an onion.
