Welcome to another week of Sunshine Sunday. This week, with summer well and truly under way here, I thought it would be a great idea to share beverages that keep us cool on a hot day.
I’ve made no secret of my love for vodka and mostly it loves me too. Unless of course I try to mix it with something else. Vodka doesn’t play well with others. Since it has gotten a lot hotter here over the last few months, Paul and I have taken to sitting my garage in the afternoons that he is here to enjoy a cold beverage or two. It’s surprisingly much cooler outside and it’s nice to watch the world go by.
Some of my best summer memories involve beverages, whether that be of the alcoholic variety or not. There’s nothing better than getting together with family or friends to have a BBQ or an impromptu party. Sometimes the ones that aren’t planned are the best kind.
This summer will be no different, with Christmas being spent in the heat. The cold beverages will be flowing, and the good times will hopefully following.

Nothing wrong with an alcoholic beverage now and again , again, again oops . We are all spending the day at the beach this year , trying to simplify things a bit and enjoy each other’s company in a more relaxed stress free atmosphere .
I am a huge lover of punch. Maybe because I hardly ever have it. Other than that, good old Coca Cola is my choice 🙂
