Roll Up! Roll Up!

Welcome to The Lounge for another week.  Isn’t the year just flying by!? This week I want to hear about your favourite bloggers.  If you already have a Blog Roll then this is super easy, just link it up and away you go!

blog loveYou know what I love the most about the blogging world?  All of the sharing.  There is a blog out there for absolutely any topic your heart desires.  Ask a question and the blogosphere will usually deliver.

Next month it has been 3 years since I started blogging and the blogosphere has exploded since then.  There seems to be new bloggers popping up every single day.  It’s awesome!

One thing that I have noticed though is that Blog Rolls seem to be disappearing and that is pretty sad.  I have discovered some pretty awesome blogs through blog rolls and well sharing is caring.  It’s also a pretty awesome feeling to hop onto one of your favourite blogs and see your link there amongst other amazeballs bloggers.  I know I was pretty chuffed the first time I saw myself on a blog roll.

Some people are worried that Blog Rolls create cliques, and exclude others.  I say bah humbug to that.  We’re all adults here and we all have different tastes.  I might find a blog hilarious while others find it meh.  It doesn’t make the choice any less valid.

The other awesome part about the blogging world? It creates real friendships.  Some of the bloggers I *talk* to on a regular basis I have never met but I still call them friends.  That is the blogosphere at work, that is what makes all of this worthwhile.

Who do you love to read?  Do you think Blog Rolls need to make a come back?

I’m a big fan of the blogroll so for me, this was an easy link-up. Glad I could participate. I’m looking forward to checking out the blogs in everyone’s blogrolls 🙂

I know! I miss blog rolls too…when I started on blogger, it was so easy to have them on the sidebar. With WP, it makes it harder…that and most of us using sites like Bloglovin or Feedly to follow blogs…
