*I received 3 tickets to Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary as part of the Problogger Pop Up Events*

The Kangaroos were so friendly. Although this guy head butted me in the but because I was patting his buddy instead of him!

Introducing Boss Hogg. This guy is a whopping 4.8m long. He was happily living in the Cairns region until he ate a $10,00 prize bull. The local farmer wasn’t too impressed

There was a multitude of lizards running free around the park. This one let us get close enough for a picture. Also note the *no swimming* sign in the background. We laughed and wondered what idiot made that sign necessary.

This case was used to smuggle a large number of birds into the country. It makes me sad that some people have so little regard for animals.
Linking up with My Little Drummer Boys for Wordless Wednesday.
Great pics! Oh that place is the best isn’t it. Looks like you had a ball x
We were there a few weekends ago and had fun 🙂 Great place! Nice to meet another aussie based blogger!

Great pics Tegan. Looks like a great place to visit. I love Boss Hog that is the best name for a croc!! I love the pic of you and Mr 4.
What a great day out!! Love the train!!!
xx
My kids would have LOVED it there. Looks like an awesome day out xxx
I love the Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary. Great photos of your visit.
It is hard to get photos of my kids not pulling faces either. Those smuggling cages, so sad. You sure jam packed a lot in during your visit!
Looks like a lovely day out! I’ve never been to Currumbin as I have a pathological fear of birds, but my kids love patting the kangaroos at Dreamworld when we’re up that way.
I love parks like this, looks awesome with the croc and bird shows and the train. Love that last photo 🙂
Looks great! I would have loved to have seen that pelican in the bird show! I have a weird pelican thing. Looks like you guys had a great time.
Lovely pics (I hear u on the face pulling – ours now include a teen body fleeing the photo, so it doesn’t improve). I have to tell you that my profile photo was taken there about a hundred years ago. So I was keen to see what you had to say…
I would like to get up there one day – I have dreams do a QLD trip to take in the theme parks and Currumbin – one day!
